西蒙•范•布伊 （Simon Van Booy，1975— ） ，英国小说家，出生于伦敦，在威尔士乡村和牛津长大。在美国经由一位英语教授介绍，爱上了惠特曼、爱默生等美国诗人的作品，并在另一位英语教授的鼓励下写诗和创作短篇小说。后来回到英国，辗转几所大学，获得MFA学 位。 已出版三本短篇小说集：出版于 二○○七年的《黑暗中的绽放》是他令人惊艳的处女作；出版于二○○九年的《爱，始于冬季》为他赢得弗兰克•奥康纳国际短篇小说奖；二○一五年，又出版了《偶然天才故事集》。他也创作长篇小说：二○一一年出版了《美，始于怀念》，二○一三年出版了《分离的幻象》。最新的作品是二○一七年出版的《父亲节》。 目前定居纽约布鲁克林。
